Garbage Girl Blog is an amalgamation of everything I’ve learned from working in the waste industry. It’s my way of sharing everything I know about the inner workings of how trash, compost, and recycling work from an economic, environmental, and societal perspective. While the conclusions I draw are my own opinions, I root my research in facts and real world experiences.

Garbage Girl blog began as an idea in 2015, and two years I finally registered the domain garbagegirl.blog in order to make this dream a reality. The dream? Share my love of compost and recycling with the world! Our disposal society tells us we live in an age of scientific wonders and easy living. Reality shows us otherwise.
